I am Dr. Chang Soo Kim, Scientific Advisor at Korea ITS KITS.

For the past 33 years, I have led the XRD Measurement Research Laboratory at Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) KRISS, conducting thin film-related XRD measurements and standardization research. I also organized and ran the X-ray Diffraction Measurement Club. After retiring from KRISS in 2024, I currently work as a leading expert in XRD at Korea ITS, sharing and transferring the valuable knowledge and experience I accumulated at KRISS with Korea ITS customers and professionals working in industrial sites, laboratories, and research facilities in related fields.

The purpose of this website is to effectively carry out such knowledge sharing and transfer purposes online. In particular, I am currently creating and sharing subject-specific resource libraries containing materials I have carefully prepared and presented, and I plan to operate Q&A sessions for questions about the materials. In the future, I am planning online meetings or invited lectures as needed to more effectively share and transfer specialized materials in related fields.

While currently building and operating this website, I plan to supplement important resource libraries as needed and upload materials as they are prepared.
